I do not support the selling of parts of the green belt for development…what about the little guy who wants a place to take their kids for a walk…or folks who want to have fresh air and clean drinking water. Doug Ford only cares about his developer friends nd their profits and not about us

I'm pretty upset about the possibility of damages to the greenbelt. I've lived in the GTA all my life, currently in Burlington and love what the greenbelt affords me in terms of nature. I think expanding the green belt is the best approach to a diverse ecosystem and strong ecological protections. Read more

There is already enough land available (88,000 acres for the proposed 1.5 million homes) Damaging the green belt to develop it is going to significantly impact the ecosystems, horticulture and native plants that are presently there, for no good reason. Read more

We strongly oppose the proposed rezoning of land currently designated Greenbelt, a designation that restricts development of lands reserved for recreational, agricultural, ecological and hydrological purposes. The ecological and environmental arguments are obvious. Read more
