Proposal details
On February 23, 2023, the County of Wellington adopted Official Plan Amendment 120 by By-law 5808-23. The official plan amendment is now before the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing for a decision in accordance with Sections 17 and 26 of the Planning Act.
Official Plan Amendment 120 proposes to implement the population and employment forecasts set out in Schedule 3 of A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, as well as population and employment allocations to the County's area municipalities to the year 2051. The official plan amendment would also revise related text in the official plan.
If approved, the population and employment forecasts and allocations of Official Plan Amendment 120 would apply across the County.
