Please do not control the Conservation Authorities in regard to development. It seems like the current government is very pro development and pro car, and will likely side with developers rather than the environment.

This newly proposed regulation, ERO number: 019-8320, appears to be a misguided attempt to strip conservation authorities of their power and hand it over to a politician. In order to for them to make decisions in the interest of their own political fortunes or that of their party. Read more

The conservation authority should be the only ones who can grant and check on permits. The ministry should not be limiting what the conservation authorities can do. The ministry of environment should not be able to take control of what the conservation authority has the rights to do. Read more
