I support bill 212 in it’s entirety and do not support the city of Toronto’s motions
Please remove these dangerous bike paths that are creating gridlock in our city
As a 25 year resident on Roxborough St E next to Yonge St, I have witnessed the adverse impact of bike lanes on both the safety of residents in the neighborhood as well as the resulting traffic gridlock. The current situation is far worse than prior to the bike lane existence.

Please remove the bike lanes on Yonge St. They contribute to gridlock traffic, air pollution as a result of idling cars, and increased traffic in the adjacent residential areas as cars try to bypass the congestion. And they’re not being used as they should be.

I’ve been really happy with the premier’s work on transit and infrastructure over the last year, to the point of considering voting PC next election, but I can’t in good conscience support ripping out bike lanes.

I am writing to request the reconsideration of Bill 212. My concerns relate to the provincial oversight and restrictions on the installation of cycling infrastructure (i.e., bike lanes).
