I am an Ontario resident and voter. Ontario should not be promoting natural gas. Heat pumps and solar panels should be a priority. New developments should definitely move towards heat pumps and solar panels. Renewables - which the current government cancelled - should be a priority. Read more

Natural gas, while a relatively efficient source of energy now, is not a viable path forward, given the eriousness of climate change. We need to wean outrselves away form fossil fuels, Of course, doing so will requires that people shift their jobs, rethink their home heating arrangements, etc. Read more
