Ontario policy should outline a plan to reduce gas and phase it out by or before 2050. Ontario should prioritize electrification and energy efficiency, plus investments in renewable energy generation and storage technologies to support the phase-out of gas. I am a citizen of Ottawa who is very concerned about climate change. Reducing fossil fuel use must be part of the Ontario energy plan. I would rather see our government encourage renewable sources like solar, wind and other new technologies. Read more
