I am writing to express my concerns regarding the proposed plan to reroute the sewer at Ontario Place. While I understand the intentions behind this project, I believe there are several significant downsides that warrant reconsideration. Read more

Do not let this proposal go through - the redirection of sewage overflow should not be allowed to drain into the West Channel and by extension Lake Ontario. We have an Environmental Protection Act for that very reason - envionmental protection! Read more

Ontario place is home to so much wildlife. It is so important to protect what is left of our natural spaces in Ontario. This project is extremely unwise. This project shows that the government Ontario is not prioritizing its future, or the future of any of its inhabitants. Read more

Moving the sewage discharge outlet is a harmful waste of tax payer dollars. Harmful for the environment and users of the waterfront. This proposal shows how Doug Ford always puts private corporate interests before that of the citizens of Ontario.

There should be no further overflows into the lake near our recreational areas where people enjoy safe access to beaches. If the new development needs improved sewage systems then they need to construct those, not worsen the water quality and cause harm to ecosystems and health.

Ontario Place was a beautiful park. Do not let Thermea and the crooks at Ford's government ruin other beaches nearby to create a spa no one wants. Ontario Place is already destroyed, don't destroy Sunnyside as well by re-routing sewage down the channel.

The 2billion dollar spa is not only insult to those struggling to pay for groceries right now but shows Ford cares only for the rich. Since my tax dollars are paying for this atrocity I implore you to deny permits to dump sewage into Lake Ontario. Read more
