I strongly oppose this bill. I want stronger environmental protections not short cuts to industry and developers removing very important pieces of our environment. This is the greenbelt scandal all over again. I cannot believe this oaf got voted in again.
There is no protection of our lives if we don’t protect nature. We have a choice to live or die in unimaginable ways. Let’s choose life by protecting our living world.
Bill 5 lets Ford override environmental laws, wipe out endangered species protections, and silence Indigenous and public voices all in an effort to fast-track industrial projects. It is undemocratic and I do not support this and neither should you.
I am against Bill 5 because I believe we need stronger environmental safeguards and greater protection for endangered species. I do not support giving industries shortcuts or allowing special economic zones to bypass existing laws.

I urge you to reconsider your support for this legislation and to advocate for transparent, consultative governance that upholds the rights and representation of all Ontarians. This Bill is undemocratic and I oppose this.
I understand that more housing is needed but absolutely not at the expense of destroying habitat for endangered species or species at risk. There are lots of places to build that would not affect such habitats. These poor creatures don't have a voice.
