I believe it is our responsibility to protect animals to the best of our ability. As humans we tend to build over everything regardless of the cost to nature. We need our laws to protect nature from our developments as much as possible. Read more

I do not support bill 5 - Ontario needs stronger environmental protections, not to weaken what already exists. Industry should be held to even higher standards, not allowed to circumvent due processes. It is shameful and short sighted to sacrifice our environment for financial gains.

I don’t support bill 5. It will weaken environmental protections and put many wildlife species at risk, and also undermines indigenous rights and authority. Now more than ever we must protect our environment. Tell Ford to stop selling off our greenspace!!

Doug is our premier , he needs to listen to the people , not his rich friends. We want environmental protection for endangered animals. He is going to ruin the future of Ontario. I am against the proposed changes to both the Endangered Species act and the Species Conservation act. These changes allow infrastructure and other projects to move forward without properly considering how they would impact species at risk in Ontario. Read more

The Ontario Endangered Species Act was a gold standard, something to be proud of and keep developers, builders and others in check. Gutting this act once again undermines our natural heritage resources and shows how little the government cares for this province. Read more

As an Ontario resident I do not support this Bill. We must protect the animals and their habitat! As my MPP I want you to vote against this Bill. Do the right thing…protect the environment and do not support private organizations who are only in to to make money!
