Please do not pass another corrupt Bill. We are tired of this. You’re only hurting our future, no more handouts. These policies exist to protect us, please for once follow real studies, research and science. I’m tired of seeing this party just completely ignore their own funded research. Read more

This bill is an example of blatant corruption in which Doug Ford once again seeks to sacrifice the beauty and natural resources of Ontario to appease his developer buddies. I oppose it in the strongest possible terms, and I am ashamed to live under a government that would even consider it.

Please do NOT repeal the endangered species act. It is vital to preserving our environment and continuing the process of restabilizing the various habitats within the province. We need this - please do not overlook the importance of environmental conservation. Read more

No more corruption, we need the environmental protections act as well as Indigenous sovereignty. Doug Ford is just like Trump. Somehow some people fell for the scheme while he suddenly no longer liked Trump, but this is right from his playbook. Read more

The people of Ontario do not deserve this, please for once be better than corruption and don’t do something that will punish all of us and our children in the future. You have no grounds to do this to us. STOP PLEASE.

The new proposal sounds like "ask for forgiveness, not permission" except without the forgiveness. This is an absurd way to protect anything. I think it's clear that this provides no protections and I oppose it, as would anyone who cares about the planet at all.

Please do not pass Bill 5. This is another scandal for the spa and all of the other builders to profit. How about putting citizen rights and health first, for once? Instead this party cares about hand outs and corner store beer. Wasting taxpayer money.

As someone who has worked on various species at risk projects in my career sine 2010, I am opposed to the Province’s proposed Bill 5, particularly the provisions that would effectively end endangered species protection in Ontario. Read more

I do not support any changes to the endangered species act that would place any animals at an increased risk of extinction - to make any changes that could even remotely lead to such an outcome would be an incredibly backwards move for a province and country that prides itself on its flora and fauna Read more

The proposed changes would have devastating changes not only to and for the many species that live in this part of the world, but would in turn have devastating consequences to the natural environment as a whole. This proposal cannot go through.

I am strongly against the changes to the endangered species act. I am disappointed with the government for even considering this approach and I hope that you can recognize the reasoning behind why this was installed in the first place. Read more

The proposed redefinition of “habitat” is absurd and inappropriate. This is by far the worst part of this proposal. Animals need more than just a den or nest, or hibernation site. These areas may be very small, and separated by considerable distance. Read more

As a concerned citizen, I strongly oppose the rollback of protections for bird species under the Endangered Species Act. This decision threatens not only the survival of already-vulnerable populations but also undermines decades of conservation progress. Read more
