I live in Etobicoke Centre and I always remember that Mimico is named after the passenger pigeon which once numbered in the billions but was driven into extinction over a century ago. Maybe they didn't know what they were doing as they destroyed its habitat and hunted it to extinction. Read more

I support initiatives to improve ESA related processes as they are certainly not perfect, but am concerned with the proposed approach. I will focus on three main areas of concern for me. Read more

025-0380 I disagree. This is not in the best interests of the environment or the wildlife. I work as a realtor and I want to see more houses built, but properly, with respect for the environment and the people. Please do not do this. Take the me time to do no harm as you build for the future. Read more

I oppose the proposed interim changes to the Endangered Species Act, 2007 and a proposal for the Species Conservation Act, 2025. The proposed changes serve to weaken current protections and demonstrates the governments shift to prioritize profit over environmental protection and conservation. Read more

PLEASE don’t do this. I know the government believes it has a strong mandate to do as it wishes. But most Ontarians do not want a Ford dictatorship government. We do not want you to continue decimating the environment to benefit developers. Read more

I object thoroughly to these proposed changes. As an ordinary citizen, I worry about what happens to our bio and eco-diversity when the ON government erodes further these protections. I ask that you abandon this latest effort to incur environmental harm for short-term objectives.

Bill 5 does not allow for a democratic process when creation of projects over ride consultation with environmental and labor laws and bypassing indigenous consultations. This appears unjust and short sited. Read more
