- A Provincial cycling network should connect urban centres. Cambridge to Guelph, Kitchener to Guelph, or Collingwood to Barrie are examples of potential missing connections.
My comments are specific to the Rail Crossing route from Goderich to Midland. While this route is in principle mostly complete, there are a few vital links needed to make contiguous journeys possible.

It is very pleasing to see a provincial cycling strategy and most exciting a map that cyclists can use. I would like to add my opinion as a road and MTB cyclist how important it is to include paved riding shoulders on all new highway construction.
I notice that your planned on-road route from Ottawa to Perth (a common destination) goes to Carleton Place first. I bike annually to Perth pulling a BOB trailer with camping gear .
I regards to the route proposed in my personal area of Caledon. The route to me appears to been proposed by someone(s) who have never ridden in the area. Particularly the route along Albion Vaughn Road in Bolton.
I have been involved in discussions around the Grand Trail Project. which is advocating a network of trails in the Grand River Watershed. I am also a supporter of trails in the Region of Waterloo. I am very interested in trails for commuting, recreation and tourism.
As a local cyclist, I believe that the primary route of the Province-wide Cycling Network should align with the Voyageur Cycling Route primary route in between Arnprior and Ottawa.
