The Township of Springwater appreciates the opportunity to provide comment on the 2017 draft Agricultural and Natural Heritage Systems Mapping and Implementation Procedures to the MNRF and OMAFRA.

I am Registered Professional Planner and a planning and development consultant based in Barrie. My clients have lands and planning projects throughout Simcoe County. As such, their lands and projects are subject to the policies of the applicable Provincial Plans (i.e.

Draft Agricultural System Mapping and Implementation Procedures

The Township of Cavan Monaghan does not support the current mapping of prime agricultural lands because of the level of detail provided and the inaccuracies of the mapping. Accurate mapping is required.
