As a citizen of Ontario what the PC government did was not in the best interest of the environment or us. The cap and trade was a good program. It kept businesses in check with their green house gas emissions and helped pay for programs to help out us...the citizens of Ontario! Read more

I strongly disagree with the proposed bill to repeal the CCMLEA, 2016. Cap and Trade is a device to curb emissions that are destructive to our environment and as such is a step toward participating in Climate Change initiatives worldwide. Read more

If the Ontario government is going to wind down the Cap and Trade program, then it either needs to institute some other form of carbon pricing on fossil fuels and other products that produce carbon emissions, or start winding down other fossil fuel based power plants and encourage the development of Read more

I am strongly opposed to the cancellation of Ontario's Cap and Trade system, which is a highly efficient way to reduce carbon emissions at the lowest cost, and to gain revenue to facilitate this transition so that it is economically beneficial for all in Ontario. Read more

I am concerned about the cancellation of the cap and trade program. I was proud of Canada's commitment at the COP21 conference in Paris where we joined with most of the countries of the world to finally take the issue of climate change seriously. Read more
