Could you please put forward a plan that you feel is viable before cancelling the current plan. We need to move continuously forward on the environmental issues. Maybe take money from the subsidies given to fossil fuel companies and use those for cap and trade until a better plan is ready?

Repealing the cap and trade act without a plan to replace it is shortsighted, and a certain guarantee that Ontario's carbon emissions will not meet the reductions they must to ensure that Canada attains it's goals under the Paris Agreement. Read more

Ontario is a province that has always lead. With the exception of this and Mike Harris’s government this province has been a reliable leader in economic and environmental protection. Climate change is as real as the earth is round. It isn’t a natural phenomenon. Read more

I reject Premier Ford's Bill 4. I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. I want Ontario to end subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirect this money to clean energy solutions. Read more

I believe in order to cancel one plan a better one must be in its place. The government does not have a plan on how to address human impact on climate. And worse yet, there is no plan to address the inevitable lawsuit that Ontario will face from companies. Read more
