We need drastic action to turn around damage that has been done to our planet due to pollution. Some of it is not reversible. Removing the one protection we have is not the answer. At minimum, we should keep our existing standards in place until something better is proposed.

We need to move forward and increase our environmental protections and prioritize minimizing climate change. Don't take away what little we have. Polluting businesses need to pay for this and need to be held accountable... not my nephews and generations living after us. Read more

At 72 years old, I won't be around to witness the environmental degradation being promised by the world's experts if we keep polluting at the current rate. However, our children will be and we owe it to them to act now to avoid environmental disaster. This is not a partisan issue. Read more

I am very disappointed in the government for proposing dismantling a program when a suitable replacement has not been tabled. Ignoring global climate change may be helpful for short-term gains but we need to think about our future and the future we are leaving for those to come. Read more

I understand from UN scientific reports that our planet is in dire straits. We can not waste any further time playing politics. Now is the time ( as it should be always but sadly is not) for excellent governance. We need to reverse climate change NOW! Read more

The shortsighted Cap and Trade Cancellation Act which is being put into place to please voters who are blindly against increasing taxes, ignores the fact that climate change requires actions now to slow down a precarious increase in greenhouse gases. Read more

We are dangerously close to crossing the catastrophic 1.5C tipping point that would lead to runaway climate change. As such, we call on the government to take urgent action to reduce our emissions and formulate a plan for adapting to a changing climate. Read more

Please listen to science. If you're standing in front of a speeding truck, take the first step to getting out of the way. Please. Bill 4 fails to match the urgency of the climate crisis and represents a major step backward in the fight against climate change. Read more

Bill 4 fails to match the urgency of the climate crisis and represents a major step backward in the fight against climate change. It is unfair and unreasonable to eliminate the province’s only climate plan without being transparent with the public about the plan to replace it. Read more

The release of the IPCC special report on Global warming was very timely with regard to Bill 4. It is another prediction suggesting accelerating and increasingly dire consequences if action is not taken. The status quo is no longer an viable option ... Read more

Stop this madness of bill C4 and listen to people with knowledge and science background. Being in the office does not give you the right to do whatever you feel like doing. You are personally and as a party responsible for your action. Read more
