How and why do interference(buffers) zones go across county paved raised roads with ditches on one or in most cases both sides. These zones should be taken off all maps. Since these cause long delays and extra expensive costs for any development due to environmental impact assessments. Read more

Conservation authorities must focus on flood prevention. Where hazard mapping is done, the conservation authority must work with the municipality to first prevent the flood from occurring to protect people and property. Read more

It is very important for individual conservation authorities to have the flexibility to develop and enforce regulations that are appropriate for their own individual watershed. Each authority has its own particular conditions, and these must be recognized in development control. Read more
