I am fully in support of the proposed amendments to the Conservation Authorities Act. Clarity around conservation authorities' core mandate provides for better accountability and transparency, which supports stronger public governance over the work and spending of conservation authorities.

If CAs are corporations, they should follow ISO standards for operating procedures, contract review, performance, quality and metrics. Following ISO standards will help service quality, response and transparency. Read more
