we are private landowners registered with MFTIP, we are supported by the Ontario Woodlot Association as members for many years now. they are a fantastic organization that provided newsletters and other helpful and critical information to woodlot owners in the Limestone chapter. Read more

As a private landowner I value the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP). Without it I wouldn't have been able to afford to keep the land in forest. The management requirements and appraiser advice have resulted in a healthier and sustainable forest. Please, do not weaken this program.

I strongly support Ontario’s intention to implement a new Forest Sector Strategy (FSS). Ontario’s forest are well managed and in good health. However, without a clear vision and strategy, the many benefits available to Ontarians from its crown forests will never be realized. Read more
