I love in Elmira and am concerned about the volume of trucks coming through the downtown area. I am concerned that the volume of truck traffic going to the Bio-En plant is having a detrimental impact on business in the downtown area and the quality of life of residents in the north end of town. Increased truck traffic would increase GHG emissions in the area. Will that be offset by an increased amount of clean energy produced? I would like to see a committment by the company to reduce GHG emissions by transitioning to electric vehicles within the next five years.
