This comment is regarding our family of five’s disapproval has a tax paying citizen to have this operation of Waste Disposal to be processed in our backyard.
Being exposed to such toxins and stench would demonstrate the government’s disingenuous care for our livelihoods and health.

Under no circumstances should a facility such as this be built or operated in this location. We live on Beechgrove Dr. and the increased truck traffic through our community would destroy our peace of mind and use and enjoyment of our properties.

In May 2017 Toronto City Council passed a motion to update the incinerator at the Highland Creek Waste Water Treatment Plan to better deal with the waste left after treatment. An alternate proposal was to truck the waste out of the plant as pellets for fertilizer.

We have been advised of the proposed Waste Disposal Site @ 633 Coronation Dr. in Scarborough and are opposed to the idea of putting any waste disposal in our area & think it a very bad idea.

The area north of Coronation Drive and East is highly residential populated including schools and community centers. There is lovely green space for us as a community to visit which is full of nature and beauty.

Please do not put a waste disposal site in a residential area near parks, and schools. I do not feel this is the best location you could find for a facility like this. I strongly encourage you to please find a more appropriate location.
The Location, volume and 24 hour operation of this proposed site is deeply concerning. Running an industrial operation that will see waste trucked into a residential area from all over the province is extremely irresponsible.
