Why consultation isn't required
On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.
Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) to be issued to Peter Smith, for the establishment of a sewage works system, in support of a proposed residential development located at 19 Bickley Country Drive, in the Town of Huntsville, District Municipality of Muskoka, Ontario.
The sewage works will include a stormceptor for quality control and a dry pond complete with storm sewers for water quantity control; discharging into the Lake Vernon Watershed, via a private stormwater management facility.
