57-C-204363 was approved on August 11, 2020 with standard conditions. This application proposes to sever a roughly triangular piece of land approximately 0.22 hectares in size (55.53 metres frontage, 63.20 metres depth) from PIN 31386-0096 as a lot addition to PIN 31386-0129. 8.46 hectares would be retained. The lands would be used to widen the existing driveway on PIN 31386-0129 and to install new gate posts. No other buildings or structures are proposed at this time.

The approval can be appealed using the procedure outlined below. Notice to appeal the decision to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal must be filed with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on or before September 1, 2020.

The applicants have one (1) year to satisfy conditions, otherwise approval will lapse.

Who can appeal

A notice of appeal can be submitted by:

A notice of appeal can’t be submitted by:

  • an unincorporated association
  • an unincorporated group

You can, however, submit a notice of appeal as a member of the unincorporated association or group.

You have to have made an oral submission at a public meeting or a written submission to the council before the official plan amendment was adopted. Note: this is not required if you are appealing a proposal for provisional consent (no official plan in place).

Details of instrument

Application No. 57-C-204363 proposes to sever a roughly triangular piece of land approximately 0.22 hectares in size (55.53 metres frontage, 63.20 metres depth) from PIN 31386-0096 as a lot addition to PIN 31386-0129. A related application, Application No. 57-C-204096 proposes to sever a triangular piece of land approximately 0.12 hectares in size (66.00 metres frontage, 40.50 metres depth) from PIN 31386-0094 as a lot addition to PIN 31386-0129. The proposed lot additions are located on either side of the existing driveway on PIN 31386-0129. The lands would be used to widen the existing driveway by approximately 2 feet on each side and to install new driveway gate posts. There are also plans to lay new gravel over the driveway surface.
