I am strongly in favour of extending the moratorium because Wellington Centre needs more time to implement its Water Supply Master Plan and to investigate new well sites. The Mayor is in favour of the extension.
Stop water taking for profit
Out water table/ aquifers are depleting. Talk to municipalities where municiple water comes from groundwater well - this is a crisis.
Water for profit is robbing Ontarians & creating a future water shortage.

I am writing to express my support for the proposed extension of the moratorium on water bottling permits, and to support an amendment to the Ontario Water Resources Act that would require water bottlers to require the support of a host municipality when applying for a new permit to take water.
