To demonstrate a solid commitment to hydrogen as an alternative to fossil fuels and subsidized hydro for transportation the province should work with Metrolinx, VIA, rail served municipalities and hydrogen suppliers to implement increased passenger services on the Kitchener/Stratford/St.

"Blue" Hydrogen relies on natural gas for its source fuel and requires carbon capture & storage technology. "Green" Hydrogen uses electricity and the source fuel can be wind, solar or hydro power; can be stored, does not require massive pipeline infrastructure and is truly net zero.

Ontario having access to abundant fresh water sources gives it an big advantage over other nations trying to produce Green Hydrogen, such as Scotland and the Netherlands which are pursuing Hydrogen production via offshore wind turbines.
