We need tree planting, nature trails and education about nature urgently. These are all core parts of conservation efforts and should remain mandatory. In fact there should not be any activities re-classified as not-mandatory. Read more

I feel that municipalities should not be allowed to govern or have greater controls over conservation bodies as it will lead to reducing the area under conservation. Also, they will propose to change conservation areas and put them up for development.

I am not in support of this new proposal as I feel that municipals will not see the environment as priority in their budgets. I support the need to continue to preserve our nature. It has been even more an important concern in our climate the pandemic. Read more
