We need to at least double the size of the Green Belt immediately. None of the current Green Belt should be touched in any way especially wetlands like the recent development east of Toronto proposed. Ministerial Orders should be banned. Zoning should be made far tougher.

Please continue to protect the entire Greenbelt. The Greenbelt absolutely needs to be expanded to include the Paris Galt Moraine. Please also protect all of the Urban River Valleys. This means that the government must abandon plans to build a warehouse or anything else on Duffin’s Creek.

The average price of a home in the GTA will rise to over $900,000 this year. This is an unsustainable state of affairs and the government needs to make major changes to remedy this situation. The single greatest factor contributing to absurd housing prices is the cost of land.
