The Municipality of Brockton would like to reiterate its unconditional support for the extension of natural gas service to the many businesses and residents of our rural municipality that do not have access to this efficient, and cost-effective source of fuel.

Natural gas is not a priority for our country. Alternatives exist. Climate change should push us towards them. Subsidization of carbon intensive fuels is not an appropriate file for our government.

This project submitted by EPCOR under the provincial government’s initiative to extend access to natural gas to more rural areas in Ontario is very important to us in the Kincardine area.
