The practice of using captive wildlife for training purposes runs counter to sound conservation practices to preserve wild spaces and the biodiversity that ultimately supports us all. This is a short-sighted proposal for goals that serve non other than the ones proposing it.
This is animal cruelty. I am fully against using innocent animals to train other animals. Why is this government bring pain to every corner of this province?
This is a horrifying and cruel practice. It is inhumane. Dog fighting is banned but you will allow wildlife to be tortured and savagely killed, for what? It is also cruel to subject dogs to a life of murder instead of giving them a chance of being apart of a loving home with a family.

I do not support the practice of trapping wild animals in order to train hunting dogs. Find a more humane way. And while we’re at it, we need to start restricting access to weapons used in hunting and those who are allowed to purchase/own them. Do better, Ontario.
This is cruel and inhumane. Wild life should not be penned up for the purpose of training hunting dogs. The stress and fear wild animals would be subjected to amounts to suffering and torture.
