To limit or take away the Conservation Authority's expert opinion is unconscionable. They were put in place to protect our environment and therefore protect Ontarians. You have no right to take away this protection.

It is totally unacceptable to allow building which do not take into account that Toronto is on the migratory bird route. Buildings should be made as safe as possible for the birds passing through. It has taken years to put protection in place. Keep the protection there.

As much as we need more housing, we need the land for natural resources more. The federal government continues to bring in more immigrants and most of Canada’s population can be found settling in and around this greenbelt. Read more
