I strongly oppose this proposal. The Greenbelt needs to be protected in the 15 areas slated to have Greenbelt protections removed. This is important for helping providing clean air to citizens in densely populated areas, green space for wildlife, and a wide range of ecosystem services.

Stop developing the green belt. We need to protect this space. We have developed enough. This does not make me want to live here. Why? For what? We need to keep the green belt protected and then some.
I think removing the land from greenbelt is a backward thinking by Doug Ford. We should instead be looking at relaxing zoning laws to be able to build multi tenant units in the city like every other well run city does. I strongly oppose this proposal

Clearly this situation has been compromised as evidenced by recent sales of previously undeveloppable land. For that reason alone the government should shelve this project to protect the importance of a sense of ethics and fairness.
