Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the plan. Based on the provided literature and maps, I strongly object to the proposed removal of these lands (maps 1-11) from the Green Belt.

This should not be happening. Why is it that governments continue to pick away at the good things that their predecessors have done. There are many other areas to build housing and under no circumstances should developers be allowed to build on the greenbelt.

Hi, there are many reasons why developing on the greenbelt is a bad idea.
1. We have paved over some of the most fertile farm land in this province and country to never be returned to its original state. We should learn from this mistake, not continue to repeat it.

I understand the need for more housing within Ontario, but there are many better ways to achieve this goal than to reduce the public's ability to comment on development projects.

Frankly I think this, and many other development related proposals are absurd!

I do not believe we need more low density housing. We need to build denser cities that are more bike-able and can have better more efficient transit.

Bill 23 must be rescinded in it's entirety.
What we need instead of Ford's pet projects that only benefit his
developer friends are true housing for the people.
We need co op style apartments and homes, rent geared to income apartments and homes along with low income public housing.
I am calling as a concerned citizen and urge you to rethink Bill 23 today.
It is an attack on democracy — it takes power away from municipalities and communities.

OPPOSE. I oppose Bill 23. I believe the Greenbelt should be protected; there are other ways to create housing - this isn't it. It's breaking a campaign promise and it's breaking the systems that sustain us.
In the middle of a climate crisis, this government should not be moving forward with these amendments to remove land from the Greenbelt. Opening this land for low-density housing development on the fringes of the GTA will only encourage more sprawl, car dependency and pollution.

Destroying protected, important wetland to enrich some developers while doing nothing to address actually housing affordability? Appalling. The croneyish at play here is absolutely astonishing.
Dear Minister Clark,
