While it goes without saying we need more homes for people in Ontario, McMansions in vitally important ecological areas to make rich developers richer is not it.
Please stop chipping away at our greenbelt! This ribbon of nature is vital for the health and well-being of local residents. Adding yet another block of homes is taking away from the very reason many of us moved to this area.

I supported the PC party during the previous election. My support was contingent on their statements with respect to maintaining the existing Greenbelt. If the boundaries are changed I will not support them again.

All green belts should be protected from development. It is outrageous to even contemplate building on already identified and supposedly protected green belt and environmentally sensitive lands.

There is absolutely no reason why any Greenbelt land needs to be removed for development. We have more than enough land already available and many opportunities to build more medium density homes within the serviced areas that exist.
