The Ford government needs to find a different plan to build more houses that does not include gutting the greenbelt, especially in light of the fact they ignored reports that showed building on the greenbelt would not solve the housing problems. Read more

Changes to the Greenbelt should not be considered. As Toronto and the GTA grow into a larger mega city the green space is precious. It is not needed to build housing either. What is needed is a proper use of the available land of which there is plenty. Read more

This is not the future that Ontarian’s need. The green belt is a significant natural infrastructure piece that should be left as is. There are better ways to improve housing availability that do not involve selling the future quality of life of our children and grandchildren. Read more

I am not in favour of this bill. I am not in favour of letting this conservative government wreck anything else in this province. They need to provide affordable housing in a situation that isn't back door deals with developer pals. No to the proposed amendment to the greenbelt plan.

This proposal will ruin the environment. There is a huge amount of endangered, threatened and at risk species that live throughout the green belt. It is protected for a reason and should stay as such. Studies show that this highway won’t help anyone. It won’t help our traffic problem. Read more
