I find it very troubling that the Ford government is taking vast swaths of our Greenbelt to build new homes most of which will be unaffordable for the very people most in need of them. Moreover, there are lots of lands outside of the Greenbelt that could be used instead.

This government's decision to amend the greenbelt is an appalling contradiction to the values of Ontario. Doug Ford is aware of this, as he reassured voters multiple times that he would not touch this land. The greenbelt is immensely important to Ontario for many reasons.
