Please adhere to the laws of science, not economics. The Greenbelt is far more valuable as an untouched, protected tract. The housing problem must be fixed through infilling of current cities, not sprawling over or replacing the most important soil in the world. Read more

Leave the Greenbelt intact. In fact, it would be a good idea to extend it to include protection for the Grand River watershed and the Paris Galt Moraine. Farmland, wetlands, and watersheds are all crucial for a livable future in Ontario. Read more

We need to protect and preserve our greenbelt, not develop it. Ontario has lost 50% of its bee population. Our food security is at increasing risk. We need long-term vision for preservation of necessary eco-systems - protection, not destruction. Hands off our greenbelt!!!

We moved to a small town with natural beauty and wonderful natural resources. We do not wish for the greenbelt area to be touched. Expansion is inevitable but expanding housing into the greenbelt areas are not a solution. Please do not allow for this to happen.

I strongly object to this land grab that ploughs through what should be untouchable land. Greenbelts are tremendously important to our ecosystem and sprawling suburbs only damage it. While this project will make a handful of people rich, it will not help those who need affordable housing. Read more
