The Ford government needs to leave the Greenbelt alone. With climate change happening, every green space in Ontario is needed and is vitally important. To interfere with the Greenbelt in any context will be detrimental to our push back against climate cjange. LEAVE THINGS AS THEY ARE!!

This is a very short sighted policy. There are many other ways to create housing in the province without damaging the environment and our clean drinking water. Reminds me of the short term thinking of previous governments with the sale of the 407.

The Green Belt has benefited Ontarian' lives with providing stable food source and protecting the environment. Thus, the proposed amendments to covert so much land into development area should be taken with precaution and much thoughts. Personally, I am against such a proposed amendment. Read more

The hypocrisy of the government who wanted to do away with the gravy train is astounding. Why are you more important than my children and their future? Please talk with Arthur, maybe he can educate you. This has impacts not just in the next few years but serious, long term ramifications.

What is the point of having a 'greenbelt' if all the government wants to do is pave it over? I think it's reprehensible that this Bill 23 allows developers to bypass all the environmental regulations that have been put in place to protect this space limited though they may be. Read more
