I do not agree with the proposal to develop these parts of the Greenbelt. Find land elsewhere. These areas are environmentally sensitive, and even an addition/substitution is not acceptable. Increase density, use and improve current infrastructure.

It is sickening to see the large negative impact that development houses have on the environment and yet we ignore this idea and try to develop the greenbelt. Why even call it a greenbelt at that point?

Please do not develop the Greenbelt. This is land we can never get back. Unique in its terroir, this is very valuable to all life around it. We cannot allow this area to be developed just to further enrich a handful of wealthy families.

Doug Ford’s attack on the Greenbelt is despicable. This land is environmentally sensitive and was protected for future generations of Ontarians and native plant and animal species. This is important habitat, but also important for management of flood waters and local farming/food security.

I very strongly oppose the proposed development on the Greenbelt. That is vital farmland and a protected are that should stay protected. Doug Ford promised not to touch the Greenbelt, yet here he is in the pockets of the developers who will destroy our environment. Do not build on the Greenbelt.
