Our government should be committed to expanding the green belt in order to meet the needs of our communities and lessen the impact on our natural eco systems. Maintain Green belt Plan 2005.
The Oak Ridges Moraine is Ontario's Water filter. The more of it we lose, the more at risk we are of having undrinkable ground water for the Country's fastest growing region.

I am opposed to any expansion of the municipal boundaries in the area covered by the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan. As you know from reading the plan, these areas are protected for the express purpose of protecting the quality of the water that people in the Greater Golden Horseshoe drink.

Greenbelt which the Premier promised to not touch and protect. The housing crisis can be fixed by another way. (e.g. changing rental laws to allow basement apartments).
