Thank you for developing this regulation, needed to protect waterways and property owners while encouraging recreational uses of public spaces. I am, however, very concerned about three details included in the previous draft developed by MNRF and modified or deleted in the updated proposal. Read more

You need to be very careful that you don't unintentionally impact recreational boats, cruisers or houseboats that you are not trying to restrict. It would be better to define the boats you want to restrict very narrowly, and expand from there if it still does not address the concern. Read more

Good day: The changes that you have proposed most recently completely dilute the intent of the review of the regulation proposals to prevent container cottages and float homes from locating detrimentally using crown and public lands and abusing the rights of other property owners. Read more

These restrictions should be enforced and the floating device should pay taxes and be subject to struck noise restrictions. They should be reduced further than 7 days. 3 days.

Hi I would like to request that nobody be allowed to camp on water on public land in one location for more than 1 year. I also wish that when they move, that they should be required to move 1KM instead of 100 meters. Read more

I am in support of this, good work done here. Houseboats / floating cottages should be close to water, sewage, and garbage disposal- marinas provide that. Read more
