On February 24, 2023, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed an amendment to the Zoning Order, Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 169/21, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 28/23.

Why consultation isn't required

Bulletin details

O. Reg. 28/23 applies to approximately 4.8 hectares of land at 36 Apple Creek Boulevard and 8885 Woodbine Avenue in the City of Markham.

A Zoning Order regulates the use of land and the erection, location and use of any buildings or structures on the land. O. Reg. 28/23, as amended, facilitates the development of a long-term care home and seniors housing. The amendment increases the maximum building heights and permits an above-grade parking structure.
