I live close by. I strongly disagree with this mine. They have been killing fish and the water ph they give off kills fish instantly.

This is not good for anyone who lives around this area nor the wildlife. They will dry up wetlands by displacing water and they will pollute the water table which all residents currently drink from. Read more

The graphite mine has since inception had a retaining pond break, allowed untreated water to flow into the magnetawan causing a killoff been delt minimal punishment so now they will be better if you say so okay you’re the professionals.

Has an environmental assessment been done on the surronding watershed that flow from the source(s) in question? Particularly the "little north magnetewan system" and the magnetewan system. Will the water level in these small tributaries be affected by drawing 6 million litres a day? Read more
