I believe the Ontario Provincial Government must act to effectively prohibit commercial plant nurseries and stores from importing, propogating and/or selling all invasive plant species.

The Ontario Invasive Species Strategic Plan includes some superb proposals. As residents of Ontario who enjoy spending time in nature, we are happy that Ontario is looking to strengthen aspects of the legislation and add new species to the act.

Please regulate invasive plant sale and mandate all registered landscapers and designers to avoid specifying invasive plants in their designs in order to maintain their license.
