I think there should be accountability for all government members that were involved in the changes to the Greenbelt Act. I think this government has lost the right to make ANY changes until the beginning of the next government. Read more

The Greenbelt needs to be protected. I work in the construction industry, and I can confirm that companies are currently delaying building homes surrounding the GTA. The shortage of land is not the problem. Companies holding out on building homes in order to increase profits is the issue. Read more

Absolutely these parcels should be returned to the Greenbelt. It should never have been touched in the first place! Lifelong Ontarian. Hoot hoot Doug Ford, the people DO care, but you don’t get cookies for undoing the bad things you should never have done in the first place.

I am vehemently opposed to having this land taken out of the “protected “ Greenbelt. This land is home to many species of both flora and fauna as well as valuable crop land. As I understand it town council requested its removal without public consultation and transparency. Read more

Hello, I absolutely support this proposal and want the lands to be returned to the Greenbelt. I still have hope for this government to do the right thing and might vote for them again. If the lands are not returned, I will go with another government who will hopefully do the right thing.
