The proposed changes seem to me to be beneficial. Our camp is in WMU 21B. We have not been successful getting a tag there in some time, so we always have one of our group apply for 21A in the primary allocation. Read more

I think group hunting should be be brought back where several hunters can pool their points for a tag. I ve heard from several older hunters, that they need so many points that they probably won’t be around to receive a tag. Very sad

Taking points away for second chance first choice is completely wrong I hunt with 9 -15 others in a group so if we dont get a tag in first round we will all be applying first choice second round If we draw multiple tags in that round we wont need them all Read more

Whenever the tag transfer was abolish there are lots of hunters that would have transfered their tags to a family member but lots of Doctors are not in favor of killing these animals and will not sign the proper documents, and the tag was not bought. Read more

I always ask myself why is Ontario not following other provinces and States in only allowing quads/ side by sides for retrieval of game? Sure hunter success would go down but look how many more moose tags would be available. Read more

In regards to the proposed changes, I feel that it is unfair to party hunters who need to apply as a group to better their chances of getting a tag. Under this proposed change they will all be required to use their tags if they draw one. Read more

regarding the proposed changes, I have the following comments: 1. Any hunter awarded a tag based on their first choice in the ‘second chance allocation’ will forfeit their points, whether or not they decide to claim the tag. Read more
