Sources include one paint spray gun, one gasoline-powered generator, and one air compressor. The spray-painting facility is anticipated to operate five days per week from 7:00am to 9:00pm, and occasional weekends, if required.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include volatile organic compounds such as:
- acetone
- xylenes
- methyl acetate
- 1-butanol
- ethylbenzene, and
- by-products of combustion such as nitrogen oxides
