I'm an avid user of the Uxbridge trail system - as a hiker/walker, not an equestrian, but even I find the requirement for horses to be equipped with manure bags unnecessary. Would like to see the Uxbridge Urban Provincial Park Plan amended to eliminate that requirement.

I agree with the intent of the proposed management plan for the park. Maintenanance of ecological integrity needs to be a primary concern here and will be an ongoing challenge with the possible numbers of park users and multiple entry points.

Overall, this looks good. I really like that no sport hunting or fishing, and no commercial trapping will occur in this park. An urban provincial park will protect the Oak Ridges Moraine and will provide crucial wildlife habitat.

In reading the maps I find references to Lot numbers however I cannot find civic addresses or any other information regarding the location of these lots, their boundaries or what maps these lots are derived from.

I would like to see this area protected completely from urban sprawl, and never be sold. No motorized vehicles on trails. Penalties for littering, and loitering Complete protection for all wildlife, and jail time if any harm done to the lands, wildlife, etc.

I'm commenting on the proposed requirement of poop bags for horses in the new provincial park. As a rider, I move my horse off trail to poop/pee. Some horses will NOT relieve themselves on trail and wait until back at the trailer. Riders will also kick it off trail.
