This bill is a gross misuse of power. To repeal the endangered species act in order to place industrial properties without oversight of the public sounds like it is straight out of a super villians play book. Your government works for the people. That means the people are your bosses. Read more

The attempt to circumvent laws that protect our endangered species is deplorable. Bill 5 weakens these laws and puts our endangered species at further risk in the name of profit for Doug Ford’s developer friends. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I want strong environment protections. No need to build more when there are tons of empty homes/apartments. They are empty because someone decided that rent cap was not important. Implement rent cap again, do not touch the environment. Read more

Please do not weaken environmental regulations. As things are now biodiversity is struggling. Humans are just one species in the world, other species need protection from our overwhelming dominance.
