This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 5971-A7UN3M for Muskoka Ready Mix Inc., a ready-mix concrete plant, located in the Town of Huntsville, Ontario.

This application is for the replacement of one ready-mix concrete batching plant. The sources at the facility include stockpiles, conveyor transfers, truck loading, one No. 2 oil-fired boiler, three baghouses, and one dust collector.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • carbon monoxide
  • nitrogen oxides
  • particulate matter
  • Portland cement
  • respirable crystalline silica (quartz)
  • slag
  • sulphur dioxide, and
  • noise
