This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for GFL Environmental Services Inc., a waste transfer facility, located in Oliver Paipoonge, Ontario.
This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including tank farms, truck loading and shipping, tanker and truck cleaning, solidification areas, storage areas, plastic shredders, and diesel engines.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- benzo(a)pyrene
- carbon monoxide
- diesel
- gasoline
- kerosene
- nitrogen oxides
- suspended particulate matter, and
- noise
